Promotion basics
What a promotion can change — and what it cannot.
An offer can introduce an extra condition around a session. It may require a particular qualifying action, apply to certain participants or games, set a time limit or impose rules about how an eligible balance is handled. These details matter more than the largest number in the headline.
A promotion cannot remove uncertainty from a game. It cannot make a personal result predictable, and it is not a reason to extend a session beyond the budget or time you planned. The safest way to assess an offer is to ask whether it already fits the plan you would have used without it.
Six details to locate before opting in
- Eligibility: Who can use the offer and whether location, account status or payment method matters.
- Qualifying action: What must happen before an offer applies.
- Wagering: The amount of eligible activity described in the full terms.
- Game contribution: Whether different games count differently toward a condition.
- Limits: Any maximum bet, exclusion, cap or other restriction.
- Expiry: When an offer or any related balance may no longer be available.
Use a simple decision test
Ask three questions: Do I understand the conditions? Does the required activity fit my original entertainment plan? Would I still choose this if the headline were not present? If any answer is no, the best choice may be to skip the offer.
Do not increase spend or extend time just to meet a promotion condition. A condition is not a reason to change a boundary you set for yourself.
